"Wow for Single Mothers" is a compassionate initiative by WOWMOVEMENT dedicated to uplifting and supporting single mothers around the world. This wing of our organization seeks to address a profound global need: the crucial and often overwhelming responsibility that single mothers carry, raising the next generation without consistent support. Despite the immense challenge, these mothers remain committed to their children, teaching them resilience, compassion, and kindness—qualities the world needs now more than ever. Through this initiative, we aim to build a supportive community around these women, recognizing and honoring their essential role in society.

THE NEED

Globally, over 100 million single mothers are raising children, often under incredibly challenging conditions. In the U.S. alone, single mothers lead 80% of single-parent households, with economic pressures forcing many to struggle to provide basic necessities for their children. Over 23% of children in the U.S. and millions more worldwide grow up without a father in the household. Many of these mothers are without any form of consistent family support, and many find it nearly impossible to juggle work and child-rearing alone.

OUR VISION

At WOWMOVEMENT, we recognize these single mothers as unsung heroines and aim to provide them with a tribe—a network of caring men and women ready to step up and make a difference. The purpose of "WOW for Single Mothers" is to offer practical and financial support to single mothers through “sponsorships” by men and women who see the value in helping these women thrive. By fostering an environment where community members can contribute to a mother’s rent, groceries, or other essential needs, we hope to create a meaningful support system that allows these mothers to focus on what they do best: nurturing, guiding, and teaching the next generation of human beings.

    Supporters can sponsor a single mother directly, helping with monthly rent, groceries, or other essential expenses.

    For those unable to commit monthly, one-time donations will go directly toward a fund to assist single mothers facing immediate needs.
